● Synthesis of biomaterials on the hydroxyapatite basis with different Ca/P ratio and following physico-chemical characterization.
● Preparing Mn substituted hydroxyapatites by ion-exchange and effect of Mn for HAP growth after biomimetic treatment in simulated body fluid (SBF).
● Study of calcium ions effect on transformation brushite to hydroxyapatite in aqueous solutions.
● Development of analytical methods needed for characterization of prepared biomaterials.
● Preparation of ceramics on hydroxyapatite basis and testing of mechanical properties.
● Elaborating of methodology for evaluation of setting process of calcium phosphate biocements and composites on the biocement-biopolymer basis, with application of different types of technologically modificated reactants and additive agents, with a view to study mechanical properties, setting times, porosity and microstructure, where hydroxyapatite or calcium deficient hydroxyapatite are final products.
● Evaluation of the chemical composition influence on the hydroxyapatite formation by simultaneous activity of the electric field in simulated body fluid environment. Study of the influence of electric field intensity on cohesive setting time of calcium phosphate biocement and composites biocement-biopolymer.
