PhD. study

Conditions for acceptance to DS:

Upon writing the admission procedure, at the secretariat of the Institute of materials research SAV fill in the application form at DS (form ŠEVT 493990) and bring a curriculum vitae, a certified copy of your diploma or confirmation of completed studies in the case of recent graduates. In the application the interested parties as a rule take one of the themes to a concrete supervisor.

Successfully passing the admissions interview (taking place in June); admissions proceedings are not public and held before a multi-member commission. On the basis of the admissions interview the commission determines the order of successful applicants who have met the required criteria.

After successful testing and acceptance they will have advantageous financial conditions for doctoral study.

Entry to doctoral study is usually 2. September.

Doctoral study can be undertaken in the form of daily study, for which no fees have yet been set, or externally, where the costs are covered by the employer`s organization.

Detailed information concerning doctoral study may be provided by Ms. Terézia Rácová, phone: +421-55/792 2404, e-mail: tracova@saske.sk
