The Week of Science and Technology

2400

The Week of Science and Technology is held on November 6-12. Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) traditionally participates in this event, and invites the public to visit its institutes. SAS scientists from all over Slovakia have prepared a number of activities and lectures for visitors to present their work, results and the scientific world. The SAS Arboretum in Mlyňany, the observatory in Stará Lesná and the SAS Museum of Computers will open their doors as well. The accompanying activities also include educational lectures at schools.

Scientific institutes and SAS centers from all three scientific sections are again opening their workplaces. They are looking forward to visitors not only in the capital city of Bratislava, but also in Nitra, Banská Bystrica, Stará Lesná and Košice. Take advantage of the unique opportunity to visit scientific laboratories and talk to experts from various scientific fields. A detailed overview of activities with exact times and places can be found HERE.
