Successes at the Seminar dedicated to the memory of Academician Boďa

On November 6-7, 2025, the 20th annual PhD Student Seminar dedicated to the memory of Academician Koloman Boďa was held in the premises of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy. The two-day competition for the best PhD thesis was organized by the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, and the Institute of Animal Physiology of the Centre of Biosciences SAS. The aim of the seminar was to provide the opportunity to the PhD students from biological disciplines in Košice to gain experience in the two most important aspects of presenting their own research results — oral and written scientific presentation.

Among the seminar participants was PhD student RNDr. Viktória Reľovská (Fedorová), who, along with two other participants, was awarded not only the Best PhD. Thesis Award, but also the UVMP Award, presented by the university on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the seminar.
