Student Research Assistance at Institute of Experimental Physics SAS

Dear colleagues

This year, we are introducing a new program at our institute called Student Research Assistance (SRA). As has been announced several times, the institute wants to involve university students in our scientific activities. We assume that this is one of the options for attracting new PhD students.

For the next period (March – May), 2 or 3 student positions will be financed from institutional support funds. The hourly wage for a student is 6.5 EUR/hour. SRA can also be financed from research grant funds. More information can be found  in the directive.

The form for writing a topic for the SRA must be delivered electronically to the scientific secretary of the institute S. Gabáni (gabani@saske.sk) and the director (gazova@saske.sk). A signed copy (a scan of the signed form is acceptable) needs to be delivered to the secretariat of the institute Ms. Ing. Pribišová (pribisova@saske.sk) no later than February 10, 2025. The topics will then be published on the institute’s website, including instructions for submitting an application for students.

I hope that this form will contribute to the recruitment of talented PhD students.
