QUARK magazine: Time travel

828

RNDr. Richard Pinčák, PhD., member of the Department of Theoretical Physics of Institute at Experimental Physics SAS chose time travel as the main topic of the latest issue of the journal on science and technology – Quark (07/2021).

The idea of traveling through a wormhole still belongs to the realm of art or fantasy. For modern theoretical physics, however, it can be one of the subjects of everyday research: from time travel through wormholes, exploring the questions and mysteries of hidden dimensions in the universe, to dark matter and parallel universes. Modern physics can find new perspectives on everything mentioned: they make it possible to explain how, for example, through interaction with virtual dimensions, it is possible to emerge from our reality, that is, the observable universe and the forces that act inside and outside it.
