Public library of Jan Bocatius invites to discussion from the 1 + 1 cycle

The approaching Easter holidays will be a dominant topic of the upcoming discussion from the 1 + 1 cycle, which will be held on April 7, 2022 at 5:30 PM in the in the center of book rentals on Hviezdoslavova 5. The well-known Slovak ethnologist Katarína Nádaská, author of many professional and popularization-scientific publications accepted our invitation. The discussion will cover Easter traditions in Slovakia, customs and food. The importance and significance of the popularization of science will also be discussed with our second guest – Mária Zentková from the Department of Physics of Magnetic Phenomena of the Institute of Experimental Physics SAS in Kosice. She will introduce us to interesting projects for children and young people such as Crayon Physics, Science Incubator, Tamers of Thoughts, Science Lair or Science Bedtime stories, all of them created and organized by Mária Zentková.
