Presidium of SAS rewarded Nature Index publications

Part of the appreciation of the work of SAS scientists for the past year are the SAS Presidium awards for the publications published in journals included in the Nature Index database. This category is intended especially for the disciplines in the field of natural, medical and technical sciences. The rewards were accepted by the awarded scientists from the President of the SAS Pavol Šajgalík, the Vice President for Science, Research and Innovations Peter Samuely and Vice Presidents of the 1st and 2nd sections of sciences at SAS Pavol Siman and Karol Marhold on September 16, at SAS premises in Bratislava.

Some members of our institute were awarded as well:

  • Mgr. Dmytro Rak, PhD., Mgr. Michaela Ovadová, RNDr. Marián Sedlák, DrSc., for the publication (Non)Existence of Bulk Nanobubbles: The Role of Ultrasonic Cavitation and Organic Solutes in Water (see HERE).
  • RNDr. Marcel Človečko, PhD., Ing. Emil Gažo, RNDr. Martin Kupka, CSc., RNDr. Peter Skyba, DrSc. for the publication Magnonic Analogue of Black/White Hole Horizon in Superfluid 3He-B (see HERE).
