Salary conditions: salary scale for university teachers and research and development employees (class 8-9, salary grade according to years of experience) + personal evaluation

Job:
• operation and maintenance of measuring equipment of the Cosmic Ray Observatory on Lomnicky štít
• processing, control and archiving of measured data
• development of new measuring devices

Applicant requirements:
• II. or III. degree university education (electrical/IT)
• position suitable for a graduate: yes
• experience in programming in C/C++/Python/PHP
• working with databases (design, maintenance and archiving)
• administration of computer networks
• minimum basic knowledge of HW, practical experience with HW and low level SW development (embedded systems, PCB design,…) is welcome
• B2 level of English language

Personal prerequisites and skills:
• independence in solving crisis situations at the high mountain workplace
• active and responsible approach to work
• willingness to work in multi-day services on Lomnické štít
• reliability and consistency
