Ján Baláž nominated for Citizen of Košice 2019

Annual Citizen of Košice award appreciates those who achieved exceptional results in their careers during the previous year. This year our colleague Ján Baláž, member of the Department of Space Physics, is nominated in the category Personality – science, research and education.

Last week nomination committee consisting of Dušan Karolyi (editor-in-chief of KOŠICE:DNES), Alexandra Mihók-Kvietková (CEO KOŠICE:DNES) and past winners of the Citizen of Košice award Milan Kolcun (2018 – Personality), representative of Antik Telecom Peter Blaas (2018 – Institution) and Zuzana Gdovinová (2018 – Woman of the year) nominated 10 personalities and 10 institutions from different fields (including communities, business, sport, culture, education, science and research) whose activities and merits will be introduced by KOŠICE:DNES media. Your vote can choose the winner.
