First Slovak Hydrogen Workshop

1200

On December 1, 2020 the first (on-line) Hydrogen Workshop was held in Slovakia, where EU plans to support research and implementation of hydrogen technologies into applications were introduced. It showed the high potential of hydrogen to push the Slovak Republic closer to carbon neutrality. Research projects and pilot plans of East Slovak companies for the application of hydrogen in industry, energy and transport were presented as well. The seminar was organized by Mr. Ján Weiterschütz, member of the Executive Committee of the Slovak Hydrogen Association (NVAS), who thanks all participants for their participation and presenters for their valuable contributions, which is confirmed by many positive responses to the workshop. At the same time, he is glad that the topic of hydrogen is getting more and more supporters, which is why NVAS is already looking forward to the preparation of a spring workshop in the regions of Central Slovakia. This way, NVAS would like to invite people from Central Slovakia to express their interest in presenting their hydrogen projects at the spring workshop.

The main output of the workshop and total of 18 papers can be found at the NVAS website or official Facebook fanpage.
