Are you thinking about a career in science but can’t quite imagine what it really involves? Or are you simply curious about how scientists live and what do they do? Then this event is for you!
On Monday, February 23, 2026, we will be talking with Anežka Pejlová and Pavol Sokol. The conversation will be hosted by experienced moderator Radka Kovaľ Mazáková, and you’ll be able to join the discussion. Sketch-noter Gabika Vanacká will join us once again.
Anežka Pejlová is an expert in post-quantum cryptography and cybersecurity at MONET+. She enjoys turning theory into solutions that protect our digital life, which is why she helps companies prepare for the era of quantum computers.
Pavol Sokol is an expert who combines knowledge of computer science and law, and has been shaping the field of information and cybersecurity at UPJŠ for several years. His experience in academia shows how a scientific career can have a real-world impact.
The discussion is organized by Institute of Experimental Physics SAs, as part of the GEM2SPIN project. Funded by the EU NextGenerationEU through the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic under project No. 09I05-03-V02-00071.
