Christophe Marcenat, a French experimental physicist, laureate of the 2025 SAS International Award and long-time collaborator of the Centre of Low Temperature Physics at Institute of Experimental Physics SAS, gave an interview to the magazine Akadémia.

In the interview, he explains why quantum physics is so difficult to grasp, what are the chances for humanity to build a quantum computer, what makes superconductors exceptional, and what is the role of extremely low temperatures in his research.
