Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Slovakia visited PhD. defense
Our January 18, 2024, our PhD. student MSc. Limpat Nulandaya (native to Indonesia) defended his thesis in the study program Progressive Materials. Department of Physical Sciences at Faculty of Science PJŠU, as well as Institute of Material Research SAS and Institute of Experimental Physics SAS were honored to welcome Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Slovakia – HE Dr. Pribadi Sutiono. After successful defense, prof. Pavol Sovák and PhD. student L. Nulandaya invited the ambassador for an informal meeting over a cup of coffee and a tasting of Indonesian national refreshments.
During a bilateral conversation, prof. Sovák informed the ambassador about the mission and structure of the workplaces at P. J. Šafárik University and the Faculty of Science at PJŠU in Košice. Both parties acknowledged significant potential for collaboration between Slovak and Indonesian research teams, as well as in the development of joint international educational activities.
