First Slovak workshop on hydrogen

We cordially invite all hydrogen technology enthusiasts to join the first Slovak workshop on hydrogen. We will be delighted to welcome you on March 11, 2020 at 9AM in East Slovak Museum in Košice.

Workshop on hydrogen is the first Slovak event dedicated to production, distribution, storage and usage of hydrogen. Hydrogen as an universal energy carrier, ideally produced from renewable or low-carbon energy resources, is one of the few solutions in meeting the EU’s environmental and climate objectives Slovak Republic has committed to fulfill.

In this forum you will learn about EU hydrogen policy tools and their implementation, support of scientific and technological research and how Slovak institutions can participate in hydrogen research projects. Workshop will provide you more information on applications of hydrogen technologies in power engineering, industry and transport. You will find more about pilot studies, demonstration activities and ongoing projects in the EU14 + 1, their economic balance, environmental benefits and new business opportunities that are opening up in our region. Experts will explain potential of hydrogen technologies and possibilities for Slovak stakeholders to join EU projects in order to fulfill ecological and safety aspects. Last block of workshop will be dedicated to prepared activities of Košice Region, planned in cooperation with local universities and NVAS, in the first implementation of hydrogen technologies in the region.
