2nd call of the DoktoGrant program received also by PhD. students from IEP SAS

This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic there was no personal handover of decrees to PhD. students who received DoktoGrant tuition, with the beginning on January 1, 2021. Under the 2nd call of this program, Slovak Academy of Sciences accepted 96 applications, 30 of which were proposed for funding (.pdf). Two PhD. students from Institute of Experimental Physics, Mgr. Ivana Garčárová and Mgr. Maksym Karpets, were among the successful applicants, whom we warmly congratulate.

The grant program for PhD. students of SAS – DoktoGrant – is activity of SAS with the intention to support scientific projects of full-time PhD. students within SAS institutes. The aim is to financially support high – quality project proposals, which will form an integral part of projects solved during their PhD. studies and which can be realized within one year. The total budget of DoktoGrant is 60 000 EUR (usually 2000 EUR per grant).
