Man\u017eelia. T\u00e9ma ich pr\u00e1ce m\u00f4\u017ee by\u0165 (zveli\u010dene) d\u00f4vodom pre frustr\u00e1ciu nejedn\u00e9ho laika. Cenu toti\u017e z\u00edskali za\u00a0\u201es\u00fabor v\u00fdsledkov dosiahnut\u00fdch v oblasti \u0161t\u00fadia termodynamick\u00fdch vlastnost\u00ed frustrovan\u00fdch magnetick\u00fdch syst\u00e9mov\u201c.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Prv\u00e1 ot\u00e1zka bola teda priam z\u00e1konit\u00e1. Ako v\u00f4bec\u00a0m\u00f4\u017eu by\u0165 magnetick\u00e9 syst\u00e9my frustrovan\u00e9 a \u010do to m\u00e1 spolo\u010dn\u00e9 s\u00a0\u013eudskou frustr\u00e1ciou? Ba dokonca, ke\u010f s\u00fa syst\u00e9my, ako hovor\u00ed n\u00e1zov, termodynamick\u00e9, ako m\u00f4\u017eu by\u0165 frustrovan\u00e9? Man\u017eelia-vedci sa len za po\u010d\u00edta\u010dom pousmiali a\u00a0dali sa do vysvet\u013eovania.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201eToto je v\u00fdborn\u00e1 ot\u00e1zka. \u010clovek sa oby\u010dajne c\u00edti frustrovan\u00fd, ak nedok\u00e1\u017ee s\u00fa\u010dasne uspokoji\u0165 alebo naplni\u0165 r\u00f4zne, ale rovnako d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9 potreby, preto\u017ee si navz\u00e1jom odporuj\u00fa. Magnetick\u00e9 frustrovan\u00e9 syst\u00e9my maj\u00fa ve\u013emi podobn\u00fd probl\u00e9m. U\u017e len pre charakter vn\u00fatorn\u00fdch interakci\u00ed alebo pre geometrick\u00fa \u0161trukt\u00faru kry\u0161t\u00e1lovej mrie\u017eky doch\u00e1dza ku konfliktom pri magnetickom usporiadan\u00ed, preto potom nedok\u00e1\u017eu vytvori\u0165 jednozna\u010dn\u00e9 usporiadanie svojich z\u00e1kladn\u00fdch stavov, a\u00a0teda s\u00fa \u2013 frustrovan\u00e9,\u201c<\/i>\u00a0opisuje Mari\u00e1n Jur\u010di\u0161in spr\u00e1vanie magnetick\u00fdch syst\u00e9mov. Naopak, t\u00fdchto usporiadan\u00ed s\u00a0najni\u017e\u0161ou energiou existuje ve\u013emi ve\u013ea, a\u00a0preto tie\u017e hovor\u00edme, \u017ee tieto stavy s\u00fa vysoko degenerovan\u00e9, objas\u0148uje \u010falej.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201eA pr\u00e1ve existencia t\u00fdchto vysoko degenerovan\u00fdch z\u00e1kladn\u00fdch stavov je charakteristick\u00fdm znakom pr\u00edtomnej magnetickej frustr\u00e1cie, ktor\u00e1\u00a0je zodpovedn\u00e1 za netrivi\u00e1lne termodynamick\u00e9 vlastnosti pozorovan\u00e9 v\u00a0magnetick\u00fdch frustrovan\u00fdch materi\u00e1loch.\u201c\u00a0<\/i>In\u00fdm slovom a ve\u013emi laicky \u2013 magneticky frustrovan\u00e9 materi\u00e1ly sa spr\u00e1vaj\u00fa nezvyklo a netradi\u010dne.\u00a0 Zrejme preto s\u00fa aj predmetom mnoh\u00fdch v\u00fdskumn\u00fdch projektov, v\u00a0\u00dastave experiment\u00e1lnej fyziky SAV pracuj\u00fa vedci na nieko\u013ek\u00fdch. Je to teda nie\u010do \u201eextra\u201c, ke\u010f je tam to\u013eko projektov tohto zamerania?<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201e<\/i><i>Magnetick\u00e9 frustrovan\u00e9 materi\u00e1ly sa intenz\u00edvne experiment\u00e1lne, ako aj teoreticky \u0161tuduj\u00fa pr\u00e1ve pre ich zauj\u00edmav\u00e9 jedine\u010dn\u00e9 vlastnosti, ktor\u00e9 nie s\u00fa pozorovan\u00e9 v\u00a0\u017eiadnych in\u00fdch magnetick\u00fdch syst\u00e9moch,\u201c<\/i>\u00a0zd\u00f4vod\u0148uje z\u00e1ujem o\u00a0tieto syst\u00e9my Eva Jur\u010di\u0161inov\u00e1. Pr\u00e1ve snaha o\u00a0hlb\u0161ie pochopenie t\u00fdchto jedine\u010dn\u00fdch vlastnost\u00ed frustrovan\u00fdch magnetick\u00fdch syst\u00e9mov na fundament\u00e1lnej, z\u00e1kladnej teoretickej \u00farovni bola a\u00a0st\u00e1le je hlavn\u00fdm d\u00f4vodom z\u00e1ujmu vedcov o\u00a0ich detailn\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadium.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201eNa\u0161\u00edm cie\u013eom je pok\u00fasi\u0165 sa teoreticky op\u00edsa\u0165 a vysvetli\u0165 experiment\u00e1lne meran\u00e9 termodynamick\u00e9 vlastnosti frustrovan\u00fdch magnetick\u00fdch materi\u00e1lov. Ako pr\u00edklad m\u00f4\u017ee posl\u00fa\u017ei\u0165 dobre zn\u00e1my experiment\u00e1lny fakt anom\u00e1lneho spr\u00e1vania sa mernej tepelnej kapacity, teda existencie viacer\u00fdch max\u00edm v\u00a0jej teplotnej z\u00e1vislosti,\u201c\u00a0<\/i>objas\u0148uje E. Jur\u010di\u0161inov\u00e1. V\u00a0tejto s\u00favislosti sa man\u017eelom napr\u00edklad podarilo n\u00e1js\u0165 priamy vz\u0165ah medzi maxim\u00e1lnym po\u010dtom t\u00fdchto max\u00edm v\u00a0spr\u00e1van\u00ed sa mernej tepelnej kapacity a\u00a0parametrick\u00fdm priestorom modelu. \u201e<i>Na z\u00e1klade z\u00edskan\u00fdch v\u00fdsledkov vieme teoreticky vysvetli\u0165, nielen pre\u010do tak\u00e1to viacmaximov\u00e1 \u0161trukt\u00fara v\u00a0teplotnom spr\u00e1van\u00ed sa mernej tepelnej kapacity vznik\u00e1 a\u00a0s\u00a0\u010d\u00edm jej vznik s\u00favis\u00ed, ale ch\u00e1peme aj d\u00f4vod, pre\u010do jednotliv\u00e9 maxim\u00e1 v\u00f4bec existuj\u00fa a\u00a0t\u00fdm vieme aj predpoveda\u0165, kde a\u00a0ak\u00fd po\u010det max\u00edm pri meran\u00ed mernej tepelnej kapacity o\u010dak\u00e1va\u0165,\u201c\u00a0<\/i>zd\u00f4raz\u0148uje vedky\u0148a.<\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00e1ve tieto zistenia m\u00f4\u017eu pom\u00f4c\u0165 pri praktickom vyu\u017eit\u00ed v\u00fdskumu. Frustrovan\u00e9 magnetick\u00e9 materi\u00e1ly toti\u017e v\u00fdrazne reaguj\u00fa na pr\u00edtomnos\u0165 magnetick\u00e9ho po\u013ea.\u00a0<i>\u201eU\u017e spom\u00ednan\u00e1 mern\u00e1 tepeln\u00e1 kapacita m\u00f4\u017ee vykazova\u0165 v\u00fdrazn\u00e9 zmeny pri zmene magnetick\u00e9ho po\u013ea,\u201c<\/i>\u00a0hovor\u00ed M. Jur\u010di\u0161in. Tak\u00e9muto javu sa hovor\u00ed magnetokalorick\u00fd jav a\u00a0m\u00e1 praktick\u00e9 vyu\u017eitie napr\u00edklad pri adiabatickom, teda bez v\u00fdmeny tepla s\u00a0okol\u00edm, (de)magnetiza\u010dnom chladen\u00ed do ve\u013emi n\u00edzkych tepl\u00f4t. Tak\u00e9to chladenie by mohlo by\u0165 potenci\u00e1lnou ve\u013emi efekt\u00edvnou alternat\u00edvou klasick\u00e9ho chladenia.\u00a0<i>\u201eEfektivita adiabatick\u00e9ho chladenia sa v\u0161ak v\u00fdznamne l\u00ed\u0161i pre r\u00f4zne materi\u00e1ly s\u00a0r\u00f4znou \u0161trukt\u00farou a\u00a0dosahuje sa pri r\u00f4znych hodnot\u00e1ch magnetick\u00fdch pol\u00ed,\u201c\u00a0<\/i>upozor\u0148uje vedec.\u00a0<i>\u201eNa\u0161ou snahou v\u00a0tomto smere bolo op\u00edsa\u0165, kde sa d\u00e1 \u010dak\u00e1va\u0165 najefekt\u00edvnej\u0161ie chladenie, teda kedy ve\u013emi mal\u00e1 zmena magnetick\u00e9ho po\u013ea vyvol\u00e1 \u010do najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161iu zmenu teploty syst\u00e9mu do \u010do najni\u017e\u0161\u00edch tepl\u00f4t.\u201c<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Man\u017eelia-vedci sa okrem toho pri v\u00fdskume sna\u017eili pochopi\u0165 a vysvetli\u0165, ak\u00fdm sp\u00f4sobom je mo\u017en\u00e9 moderova\u0165 oblasti hodn\u00f4t magnetick\u00e9ho po\u013ea s najefekt\u00edvnej\u0161\u00edm chladen\u00edm, z\u00a0ak\u00fdch po\u010diato\u010dn\u00fdch stavov sa najr\u00fdchlej\u0161ie\u00a0dosahuje ve\u013emi n\u00edzka teplota a\u00a0naopak, ktor\u00e9 po\u010diato\u010dn\u00e9 stavy v\u00f4bec neved\u00fa k zni\u017eovaniu teploty. A\u00a0na \u010do to v\u0161etko m\u00f4\u017ee posl\u00fa\u017ei\u0165?<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201eTak\u00e9to teoretick\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadium je d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9, aby sa n\u00e1sledne mohol materi\u00e1lov\u00fd v\u00fdskum s\u00fastredi\u0165 na h\u013eadanie potenci\u00e1lnych kandid\u00e1tov, ktor\u00ed by dosahovali najvy\u0161\u0161iu efektivitu pri dosiahnute\u013en\u00fdch intenzit\u00e1ch magnetick\u00e9ho po\u013ea, pri izbov\u00fdch teplot\u00e1ch po\u010diato\u010dn\u00e9ho stavu a\u00a0v\u00a0neposlednom rade, ktor\u00fdch v\u00fdroba by bola cenovo v\u00fdhodn\u00e1 a\u00a0ekologicky neza\u0165a\u017euj\u00faca,\u201c<\/i>\u00a0vysvet\u013euje M. Jur\u010di\u0161in a\u00a0man\u017eelka prikyvuje. S\u00fazvuk je jasn\u00fd. Man\u017eelia sa dokonca dop\u013a\u0148aj\u00fa aj v\u00a0r\u00e1mci vzdelania. Jeden partner m\u00e1 fyzik\u00e1lne, druh\u00fd matematick\u00e9. A\u00a0ako svorne hovoria, ich man\u017eelsk\u00e1 spolupr\u00e1ca v\u00a0pr\u00e1ci je tak nielen ve\u013emi dobr\u00e1, ale aj produkt\u00edvna.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201eJe potrebn\u00e9 poveda\u0165, \u017ee t\u00fdm, \u017ee sme man\u017eelia, a\u00a0teda spolu prirodzene tr\u00e1vime v\u0161etok \u010das, mnoh\u00e9 probl\u00e9my dok\u00e1\u017eeme analyzova\u0165 a\u00a0rie\u0161i\u0165 takpovediac \u00b4za pochodu\u00b4,\u201c<\/i>\u00a0usmej\u00fa sa a\u00a0potvrdia, \u017ee je skuto\u010dne ve\u013emi \u0165a\u017ek\u00e9 n\u00e1js\u0165 miesto, kam si pr\u00e1cu so sebou nenosia, zvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165, ke\u010f pre svoj v\u00fdskum nepotrebuj\u00fa ve\u013ek\u00e9 laborat\u00f3ri\u00e1.\u00a0<i>\u201eNa\u0161a pr\u00e1ca \u2013 v\u00fdskum, je tak\u00e1 na\u0161a v\u0161adepr\u00edtomn\u00e1 prirodzen\u00e1 s\u00fa\u010das\u0165.\u201c<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Najvy\u0161\u0161ie vedeck\u00e9 ocenenie SAV ber\u00fa man\u017eelia ako obrovsk\u00e9 zados\u0165u\u010dinenie.\u00a0<i>\u201eVe\u013emi si cenu v\u00e1\u017eime,\u201c<\/i>\u00a0zhoduj\u00fa sa.\u00a0<i>\u201eOkrem toho to ur\u010dite vn\u00edmame aj ako ve\u013ek\u00e9 povzbudenie do \u010fal\u0161ej vedeckej pr\u00e1ce.\u201c\u00a0<\/i>Nel\u00e1ka ich teda zahrani\u010die? \u00dastav experiment\u00e1lnej fyziky SAV je \u0161pi\u010dka, domovsk\u00fd \u00fastav je vynikaj\u00faci vo svojom vedeckom svete, netreba \u00eds\u0165 \u201ee\u0161te vy\u0161\u0161ie\u201c?\u00a0<i>\u201eObaja sme v\u00a0minulosti u\u017e dlhodobo p\u00f4sobili v\u00a0zahrani\u010d\u00ed, ke\u010f\u017ee sme pracovali v\u00a0medzin\u00e1rodnom Spojenom \u00fastave jadrov\u00fdch v\u00fdskumov v\u00a0Dubne v Ruskej feder\u00e1cii, pri\u010dom vedeck\u00e9 kontakty sa sna\u017e\u00edme doteraz udr\u017eiava\u0165 v\u00a0r\u00e1mci kr\u00e1tkodob\u00fdch pracovn\u00fdch pobytov.
