V s\u00fa\u010dasnosti je nosn\u00fdm programom OMF pr\u00edprava a \u0161t\u00fadium s\u00favisu mikro\u0161trukt\u00fary a supravodiv\u00fdch vlastnost\u00ed REBCO (RE = vz\u00e1cna zemina) mas\u00edvnych monokry\u0161talick\u00fdch supravodi\u010dov (MMS).\u00a0 V tejto oblasti z\u00edskalo OMF vedeck\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky oce\u0148ovan\u00e9 doma i v zahrani\u010d\u00ed, nadviazalo \u0161irok\u00fa medzin\u00e1rodn\u00fa spolupr\u00e1cu s popredn\u00fdmi pracoviskami vo svete (SIT Tokyo, Argonne National Laboratory, USA, Oxford University, Cambridge University, IPHT Jena, IFW Dresden, ATI Vienna, ICMAB Barcelona, CRETA CNRS Grenoble, JTU Shanghai, KAERI Daegeon) v r\u00e1mci projektov dvojstrannej a mnohostrannej spolupr\u00e1ce (projekty 5RP a 6RP). \u00a0Z projektov \u0161truktur\u00e1lnych fondov E\u00da vybudovalo OMF infra\u0161trukt\u00faru (unik\u00e1tny syst\u00e9m pre komplexn\u00fa RTG anal\u00fdzu, skenovacia elektr\u00f3nov\u00e1 mikroskopia s\u00a0mikroanal\u00fdzami EDS, WDS, EBSD, termick\u00e1 anal\u00fdza s\u00a0hmotnostnou spektroskopiou)\u00a0 potrebn\u00fa na v\u00fdskum a v\u00fdvoj t\u00fdchto materi\u00e1lov.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #333333\">REBCO MMS s\u00fa materi\u00e1ly vhodn\u00e9 pre praktick\u00e9 aplik\u00e1cie hlavne ako supravodiv\u00e9 permanentn\u00e9 magnety. Medzi ich unik\u00e1tne vlastnosti patr\u00ed, \u017ee v d\u00f4sledku siln\u00e9ho pinningu (kotvenia magnetick\u00fdch silo\u010diar) vedia zachyti\u0165 o r\u00e1d vy\u0161\u0161ie magnetick\u00e9 pole ako najlep\u0161ie permanentn\u00e9 magnety (a\u017e 17 Tesla pri teplote 30 <sup>o<\/sup>K, a\u017e 100 kr\u00e1t vy\u0161\u0161ia hustota energie), stabilne sa vzn\u00e1\u0161aj\u00fa alebo visia v nehomog\u00e9nnom magnetickom poli (vysok\u00e1 levita\u010dn\u00e1 sila) a pohybuj\u00fa sa bez trenia v homog\u00e9nnom magnetickom poli. Aplika\u010dn\u00e9 mo\u017enosti s\u00fa najm\u00e4 pri kon\u0161trukcii v\u00fdkonn\u00fdch elektrick\u00fdch to\u010div\u00fdch strojov, magnetick\u00fdch separ\u00e1torov, levita\u010dn\u00fdch zariaden\u00ed ako s\u00fa lo\u017eisk\u00e1 bez trenia, zotrva\u010dn\u00edkov\u00e9 rezervo\u00e1re energie, levita\u010dn\u00e9 dopravn\u00edky a\u00a0vlaky, ale tie\u017e medic\u00ednske aplik\u00e1cie pri magnetickom transporte lie\u010div resp. separ\u00e1cii buniek a in\u00e9. S\u00fa\u010dasn\u00fd REBCO MMS (supravodiv\u00fd magnet) si idealizovane m\u00f4\u017eeme predstavi\u0165 ako\u00a0 monokry\u0161t\u00e1l REBa<sub>2<\/sub>Cu<sub>3<\/sub>O<sub>7-x<\/sub> supravodivej f\u00e1zy cylindrick\u00e9ho tvaru s priemerom 30 a\u017e 100 mm, v ktorom s\u00fa rozpt\u00fdlen\u00e9 centr\u00e1 uchyt\u00e1vania magnetick\u00fdch toko\u010diar. Tieto centr\u00e1 m\u00f4\u017eu by\u0165 submikr\u00f3nov\u00e9 \u010dastice\u00a0 nesupravodivej RE<sub>2<\/sub>BaCuO<sub>5<\/sub> (211) f\u00e1zy, resp. tzv. chemick\u00e9 piningov\u00e9 centr\u00e1: nanorozmerov\u00e9 oblasti s naru\u0161enou kry\u0161t\u00e1lovou mrie\u017ekou\u00a0 vytvoren\u00e9 substitu\u010dn\u00fdmi at\u00f3mami.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #333333\">V s\u00fa\u010dasnosti sa REBCO MMS pripravuj\u00fa pomocou novej technol\u00f3gie jednosmern\u00e9ho rastu (Single-Direction Melt Growth &#8211; SDMG), ktor\u00e1 umo\u017e\u0148uje r\u00fdchlej\u0161\u00ed a jednosmern\u00fd rast ve\u013ek\u00fdch kry\u0161t\u00e1lov s r\u00f4znou geometriou (Obr. 1).
