Zameranie oddelenia pokr\u00fdva \u0161irok\u00fa oblas\u0165 biologick\u00fdch t\u00e9m a\u00a0biofyzik\u00e1lnych techn\u00edk.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Amyloidn\u00e9 \u0161trukt\u00fary <\/strong><em>(Doc. RNDr. Zuzana Ga\u017eov\u00e1, PhD.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tvorba \u0161pecifick\u00fdch amyloidn\u00fdch agreg\u00e1tov zohr\u00e1va v\u00fdznamn\u00fa \u00falohu v\u00a0patogen\u00e9ze mnoh\u00fdch ochoren\u00ed ako napr. Alzheimerova a\u00a0Parkinsonova choroba, alebo diabetes typu II. V\u00a0na\u0161ej pr\u00e1ci sa venujeme \u0161t\u00fadiu agreg\u00e1cie poly\/peptidov (hlavne inzul\u00ednu, lyzoz\u00fdmu a\u00a0Abeta peptidu) v\u00a0pr\u00edtomnosti mal\u00fdch molek\u00fal a\u00a0nano\u010dast\u00edc in vitro, ako aj ich \u00fa\u010dinku na bunky. Na\u0161im cie\u013eom je identifik\u00e1cia inhib\u00edtorov amyloidnej agreg\u00e1cie, ktor\u00e9 by mohli by\u0165 vyu\u017eit\u00e9 ako terapeutik\u00e1 chor\u00f4b spojen\u00fdch s\u00a0amyloidnou agreg\u00e1ciou. Zaober\u00e1me sa tie\u017e detekciou zmien prote\u00ednov v\u00a0likvore pacientov trpiacich na Alzheimerovu chorobu s\u00a0cie\u013eom n\u00e1js\u0165 sp\u00f4sob detekcie rann\u00fdch \u0161t\u00e1di\u00ed tejto choroby.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Supramolekul\u00e1rne komplexy na b\u00e1ze prote\u00ednov <\/strong><em>(RNDr., Ing. Katar\u00edna \u0160ipo\u0161ov\u00e1, PhD.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proces samo-usporiadania, zalo\u017een\u00fd na auton\u00f3mnych, nekovalentn\u00fdch interakci\u00e1ch medzi jednotliv\u00fdmi stavebn\u00fdmi blokmi bez po\u017eiadaviek na vonkaj\u0161ie zdroje energie m\u00e1 v pr\u00edrode ve\u013ek\u00fd v\u00fdznam. Na\u0161\u00edm dlhodob\u00fdm cie\u013eom je sk\u00fama\u0165 vz\u0165ah medzi \u0161trukt\u00farou a funkciou prote\u00ednov, ktor\u00e9 prech\u00e1dzaj\u00fa procesom samo-usporiadania za norm\u00e1lnych aj patologick\u00fdch podmienok. N\u00e1\u0161 v\u00fdskum je zameran\u00fd na: I) objasnenie vplyvu oxida\u010dn\u00e9ho stresu a redoxn\u00fdch por\u00fach na interakcie prote\u00edn-prote\u00edn; II) v\u00fdroba bio-in\u0161pirovan\u00fdch nanomateri\u00e1lov na z\u00e1klade synergickej kombin\u00e1cie biomakromolek\u00fal, prote\u00ednu a DNA ved\u00facej k jedine\u010dn\u00fdm, vysoko programovate\u013en\u00fdm a sofistikovan\u00fdm funk\u010dn\u00fdm hybridn\u00fdm nano\u0161trukt\u00faram, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa a vykazuj\u00fa pozoruhodn\u00e9 vlastnosti, a t\u00fdm poskytuj\u00fa nov\u00e9 pr\u00edle\u017eitosti na vytv\u00e1ranie materi\u00e1lov na nano\u00farovni; III) implement\u00e1cia matematick\u00e9ho modelovania na a) popis experiment\u00e1lnych v\u00fdsledkov a b) sk\u00famanie procesov prenosu elektr\u00f3nov v prote\u00ednov\u00fdch supramolekul\u00e1rnych komplexoch a nano\u0161trukt\u00farach.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Biomedic\u00ednska anal\u00fdza obrazu <\/strong><em>(Doc. Zolt\u00e1n Tomori, PhD.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mikro-robotika predstavuje vedn\u00fa oblas\u0165 ktor\u00e1 vyu\u017e\u00edva poznatky z fyziky, robotiky a anal\u00fdzy obrazu. N\u00e1\u0161 v\u00fdskum a experimenty s\u00fa zameran\u00e9 na aplik\u00e1cie v biofyzike. Vyu\u017e\u00edvame pritom hlavne aparat\u00faru na dvoj-fot\u00f3nov\u00fa polymeriz\u00e1ciu pomocou ktorej vytv\u00e1rame n\u00e1stroje na mikromanipul\u00e1ciu. Tie s\u00fa potom ovl\u00e1dan\u00e9 silov\u00fdmi \u00fa\u010dinkami laserov\u00fdch l\u00fa\u010dov pomocou holografickej optickej pinzety.
