Together with the Institute of Materials Research SAS, we participated in the “Science and Technology Week” 2024. During this event, our laboratories students from the Krompachy Elementary School<\/strong> and the GT12 \u2013 Trebi\u0161ovsk\u00e1 Grammar school<\/strong> visited our laboratories. Additionally we welcomed in our Institute of Experimental Physics SAS\u00a0 students from the Svinia Elementary School<\/strong> and the Secondary School of Woodworking in Vranov nad Top\u013eou<\/strong>. In total, approximately 150 students<\/strong> had the opportunity to try various experiments, learn something new, and, of course, have fun. Fascinating demonstrations in the fields of electricity and magnetism were showed across four specialized laboratories: the Laboratory of High Magnetic Fields, the Laboratory of Magnetic Hyperthermia, and laboratories focusing on magnetic ferrofluids and liquid crystals. The program was prepared and guided by scientists from our Institute: Katar\u00edna Paulovi\u010dov\u00e1, Michal Raj\u0148\u00e1k, Veronika Lackov\u00e1, Mat\u00fa\u0161 Mol\u010dan, Mat\u00fa\u0161 Orend\u00e1\u010d, Iryna Khmara, Dmytro Miakota, and Krist\u00edna Zolochevska<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
