Department of Space Physics at our institute, which studies space weather and the radiation environment around Earth, will welcome your help in observing the Aurora Borealis in Slovakia.<\/p>\n

If you’ve captured a photo of the Aurora Borealis in Slovakia, whether in recent days or even years ago, please send us an email with the following information:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Where was it taken? (location, name of the town\/place where you photographed the aurora)<\/p>\n

\u2013 When was it taken? (date and time)<\/p>\n

\u2013 In which direction is the view\/scene in the photo? (north, south, east, or west)<\/p>\n

Please send the information and the photograph to the email address: bobik@saske.sk<\/a><\/p>\n

This data will be used to research the visibility of the auroral oval from lower geomagnetic latitudes.<\/p>\n
