Mgr. Katar\u00edna N\u00e1dask\u00e1, PhD., famous Slovak ethnologist and historian, will talk about the entire genealogy\u00a0of Easter holidays, ceremonies and rituals of Holy Week and the holidays themselves.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The lecture will address the following questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is the history of Easter?<\/li>\n<li>What is the importance of fasting?<\/li>\n<li>Why do girls get &#8220;flogged&#8221; and watered?<\/li>\n<li>Why do we keep this tradition in Slovakia?<\/li>\n<li>What is the significance of Easter eggs?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Expert on Slovak customs &#8211; Katar\u00edna N\u00e1dask\u00e1, will guide us through traditions that almost disappeared. It will be an adventure!
